"Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art."

Welcome to the modeling studio of Valencia Dior.  There are several different locations around the United States, including Savanah, Georgia and Los Angeles, California.  Located along the beaches of Miami, there is security to pass through if you wish to enter, even for just a tour.  Rolling grass spreads throughout as you drive up along an expansive and winding driveway, trees blocking the view from the street to provide for privacy for all models and other employees.  The property is indeed gated for security and privacy purposes as well.  When you arrive, there is a large parking area to the left of the building for all employees, as well as Ms. Dior's private parking spot, closest to the door of course.

As you approach, a security guard is there to welcome you inside and hold the door for you.  Upon entering, your eyes are greeted with a calming hue of ocean blues and chocolate browns.  A rounded, circular, cherry brown desk that stands chest high is the first sight within the doors, a vase of roses always on the desk, and a young man stands behind the desk, quite polite and very ready to help direct you to wherever you need to go throughout the studio.  A set of curved, low, and modern cream colored chairs sit further along the walls for clients to sit patiently as they wait to see editors...photographers...or even Miss Dior herself.

If you are lucky enough to work for Miss Dior...you are treated with class and held with high expectations.  She not only looks for the most up and coming models, but people with high intelligences who have an artful eye.  They must have a high stamina to hold their poses and know when they are creating art, rather than simply looking pretty.  Supermodels walk through her doors.  All models are also trained in self defense to keep them safe, to further her expectations of her models and other employees.  Within the halls of her business, magazine and photo layouts are created and published, as well as contracts signed for runways throughout the world.  She never plans to keep a model within her studio for more than a few years as she trains them in her techniques and to give them their own individual style...the plan is to create greatness within each of them.

And to do this...an amazing studio to match.  As you walk through the hallways towards this section, you are greeted with a cherry hardwood floor dusted with studio lights that direct your attention to magazine covers and runway photos of successful models who have walked through Valencia's doors as well as famous Playboy and Victoria Secret sessions of herself.  The hallways will lead you to each new section of this modern and classic studio.

It starts with the makeup and hair artists and the room dedicated solely to their art.  A crisp white cubed desk greets each model and designer to discuss their photo shoot for the day.  And from their, they go to work.  Each hair and makeup station is private, as if holding their own cubicle, a hot pink chair to hold the model as they are pampered and prepared for their shoot.  A large mirror greets each model as their artist pampers them, paints them, talks them up for the day...white counters and white walls.  Each private position holds a special pink rose for each model to show how precious they are to Valencia and remind them of her expectations.

From there, you journey further into a costume/changing area.  All are able to choose their outfits for the photo shoot and change.  There are several expansive walk-in closets, offering everything from lingerie to costumes for the women.  Pink silk robes are also available for each of the models and stilettos of every color and size.  It's quite heated to keep them all nice and warm and comfortable...for now.  This would lead directly to the hallway with the private photo shoot studios.

Each studio is separate.  There are glass windows to view the different sets, a hardwood floor with waiting area for friends or different editors to watch outside.  Only those directly involved with the shoots themselves are allowed inside.  The sets themselves are all quite intricate and filled with real props, not just scenes.  The newest in editing and photo technology is present in each of the private studios, constantly updated for the current trends and based off of research as well.  Nothing would be outdated in this studio.  However...the air is always on within this section...perky girls.  Valencia is often seen walking in and out of the studios, critiquing, editing, and even taking photographs herself.

From here on are the offices.  Each and every editor and photographer is given their own private office to take care of their business.  Several secretaries have also been hired to catalog the pictures, and they are the only ones with an open office space separated by cubicles.  All office furniture is white and crisp, pink roses on everyone's desk, fresh daily.

Valencia's office stands alone.  A black and white modern decor.  One wall holds a black and white floral mural with thick black framed mirror against the wall and a white couch with black pillows.  The other wall holds windows with steel shutters that will close the moment the day hits, black and white cloth over these.  Steel table and chairs are held in the middle of the room for meeting with clients, photo layouts spread over the table.  Another crisp white desk lays near against a wall, white chair there with black floral print splashed over this.  A black rose with white tips is always upon her desk in a red vase.

A private room is held at the end of the hallway.  No meetings are held here throughout the day.  It is for evening meetings only and it's locked via code.  Wooden rectangular desk, expanding throughout the room for the largest family in the city.  Enough for 15 to sit comfortable in high backed, comfortable, black sleek chairs.  On the wall furthest from the door are two flat screen televisions built into a matching wooden surface, sleek.  The whole room is sound proofed for privacy.

And if you are lucky enough to ever journey upstairs...well...that's another story.

The models that are produced by Miss Dior are never disappointing.  The moment anyone disappoints this supermodel and entrepreneur, they are shown the door.  High expectations are expected to be met.  There is no mediocre.  Supermodels are created here, and they aren't just pretty girls.  They are expected to create their own forms of art, not just with their bodies, but to hold their beauty within their eyes and understand it with their minds.  They are to be confident and able to communicate with the media.  It's not about looking pretty here.  It's about being beautiful...within and without.  Pride, beauty, strength...and that is reflected within every employee and within the absolute construction of this studio.
